A private dining experience featuring a 6-course taster menu, cooked and served in the comfort of your own home or private hire space. Restaurant quality, fine dining food expertly prepared by a professional chef.
Delicious, refined, restaurant-quality food at your table.
Your experience of having me cook for you in your home should be as seamless and as stress-free as possible. When you book me, this is how it works:
We have an initial phone consultation so I can find out where you are based and what kind of event you are looking to host, including numbers and any possible dietary requirements. The next step is for me to meet with you at the address where you would like the event to be hosted, usually your home or private hire space, so I can assess the space and ensure I can deliver my fine dining food in that environment.
You then choose your menu, and we discuss any changes or additions you require. When you have chosen, you pay a 50% deposit to secure the booking. A final invoice will be issued on the date of your event. I will require access to the kitchen area for two hours before the event starts. I will then provide you and your guests with a fabulous taster menu, wash up and leave the kitchen exactly as I found it.
Yes, if I am made aware of any allergies or food intolerances at least 1 week before the event. I am afraid that I will struggle to cater for any additional food allergies or intolerances after this time.
A fine dining taster menu prepared and cooked by a professional chef with over 10 years of experience working in one of the most exclusive and prestigious restaurants in London.
Currently, I can offer my menus for up to 20 people.
On average, the tasting menu takes around two and a half hours to three hours to eat and enjoy (depending on numbers), but the event can last as long as you wish; it's your event!
I aim to offer 5 different menus for you to choose from, but only one menu will be featured on the night.
My food isn't pretentious, and my cooking style isn't arrogant. My fine dining doesn't contain foams, the word 'Aerate' or anything served on a pebble. It's restaurant quality, fine dining food that you haven't got to ask Google to find what it is.
I do. I bring everything I need with me. Even salt and pepper.
You do. I am afraid my talents only lie with food; I am no beverage expert!
I do! I bring everything I need, including specialist equipment, such as hand blenders or mini fryers, should the menu require them.
Please note that I may require using your fridge or freezer space during the event to ensure your food is stored correctly. If so, I will let you know when you choose your final menu. Please ensure I have access to these on the date of the event. You do not need to empty them completely; just ensure I have a few shelves free.
I do; each dish is designated a particular plate or bowl that I will provide.
However, If you have a particular dining set or piece of crockery you would like me to use, then please let me know, and show me when I visit the property for my initial look round. If I can include it in your event, I will.
I do; each dish has the correct cutlery to accompany it.
No, I am able to execute the menu alone and also serve each dish without the need for serving staff.
No, you can decorate your table or place settings as you wish to match the theme or occasion of your event.
My menus start at £70 per head and are all 6-course taster menus. If the event is over 10 miles from my home address, DN8, I charge fuel expenses; this will be added to your final invoice.
I currently offer my private dining services across Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. If you live outside of these areas and would like to book, please call me to discuss my availability.
I hope not! My taster menus have all been tested out when I have hosted fine dining nights at local restaurants, and the feedback has always been, 'We were not sure we could finish the last course!'
